Henry, Lori and Nana are in Austin this weekend visiting some family and enjoying the 100 degree weather that I'm enjoying right here in D.C. After this trip, H's skin will be tawny and brown, like leather. Here's a picture of Henry preparing to dive into Lori's cousin's pool:

Clap Your Hands

Henry acquired two new skills last weekend - clapping his hands and pulling up to standing. We caught the first one on camera but couldn't capture the second one because we were too busy making sure he didn't also get his first concussion.

4th of July = 9 months on the dot

Independence Day marked the end of Henry's ninth month on Earth. By this point, he has two teeth and has mastered a unique, legless version of crawling. Here are some quality shots from the last few weeks.
