Weekend with Mom/Haircut Debut

Last weekend, Henry and I had lots of quality time together while Jeffrey went to the mountains of Maryland for a bachelor weekend for his buddy, Joe. While Jeffrey was drinking beer, playing guitar and eating massive amounts of meat and cheese balls, Henry and I had a great time. Our time together started on Friday when Henry and I worked from home. Henry worked on our family budget while I did my conference call. By family budget, I mean Henry watched Elmo videos on You Tube. The boy would do that all day long if we allowed it. Check out the new haircut and matching sunglasses:

To Nana's I Go

Grandpa Jack got Henry this adorable shirt because he calls my mom "Nana." Thanks for the thoughtful gift, Grandpa!

I think that is exactly what he will be thinking when he sits down at the table for lunch with the other Ducklings tomorrow at daycare and discovers that his mom has packed him a lentil burger and spinach patty. Nana would never force him to eat anything like that!
